Synopsis:

A bachelor thesis is the qualification thesis of a bachelor's degree. It contains a design of a building with a focus on structural design and fire safety analysis, including an assessment of the fire resistance of the load-bearing elements.

Requirements:

Requirements are specified by the supervisor.

Syllabus of lectures:

Review of the architectural and construction design of the building;

design and assessment of the principal structural elements of the building;

fire safety analysis of the building, including an assessment of the fire resistance of the load-bearing elements;

possibility of extension parts (variant solutions, numerical calculations with the use of software, etc.).

Syllabus of tutorials:

Elaboration of the bachelor thesis according to the established time schedule, specification of the content and scope of sub-parts based on consultations with the thesis supervisor.

Study Objective:

The aim is to demonstrate the student's ability to work independently on given assignment, using professional and scientific literature, computer programs and tools according to recommendations with help and guidance of the supervisor.

Study materials:

Recommended by the supervisor according to the assignment.
