The studio's brief is focused on building types where the structure largely influences the overall design, or can become an inspirational source or even a distinctive element of the architectural solution. The students then submit the project in the form of a study of the building, supplemented by a structural concept, preliminary calculations, sketches of details and selected structural elements. Physical models are an important part of the project development.

1. Introduction and familiarisation with the assignment, typological introduction to the chosen building type. Discussion. Start-up tasks.
2.Visit to the site. On-site surveys and analyses. Completion and refinement of the terms of reference.
3.Presentation of current architecture, evaluation of research, site analysis and typology.
