Design of steel / timber load bearing building structure according to external requirements in relation to interaction of load bearing and final completion structural elements. The project is assigned by the seminar leader.

1. Choice of suitable building (architectural study, papers and figures presented in civil engineering and architectural journals etc.), analysis of building and boundary conditions.
2. Preliminary design of 3 suitable structural systems based on complex analysis of building.
3. Final design of 3 suitable structural systems based on complex analysis of building, comparison of the results, choice of the solution for detailed design.
4. Analysis and specification of selected structural system.
5. - 12. Design drawings, calculations and reports for each task (Building Structures, Structural Design, Building Services, Geotechnics), optimization of load-bearing structure, detailed drawings.
13.Public presentation.
14. Completion of the project.
