Synopsis:

The course is designed as a follow-up course in photogrammetry. It introduces classical methods in a new digital form of 21st century cross-sectional and stereophotogrammetry, as well as specialized technologies of satellite photogrammetry, photogrammetry for RPAS (remotely piloted aircraft system) New technologies of photogrammetry are applied here for GIS, BIM, mapping and especially for documentation of historical buildings (accurate digital documentation of interiors and interiors, vaults, sculptures, statues, etc, 3D data editing, visualization and animation), as well as the creation of thematic layers for GIS, especially DTM and DMP. Recently, photogrammetry also includes some methods of direct determination of 3D coordinates of points (3D scanning, IBMR - image based modelling and rendering).

independently solved tasks according to the focus of the student's doctoral thesis.

Study Objective:

This is not a basic photogrammetry course. Knowledge of the principles of photogrammetry is assumed and the content is a semester-long project on a selected professional topic according to the doctoral student's field of study.
