Synopsis:

Basic engine management system, design and select the components for an ignition system and implement a strategy for on-board diagnostics. In car network and embedded processor system for real time application with use of sophisticated peripheral devices.

Requirements:

To get credit the student must participate in contact teaching and must fulfil all tasks in the laboratory.) If student misses more than 20%, he must fill additional requirements announced by teachers. The exam is in written form (test) and next in oral form (2 questions by lot). 60 % is minimal number for success of test.

3 Semiconductor Devices and Power Electronic Circuits.

4 Distributorless and Electronic Ignition Systems.

5 Microcomputer Instrumentation and Control.

6 Micro-actuators and microsensors, micromotors, accelerometers and pressure sensors.

7 Magnetoelectric and Piezoelectric Actuators.

8 Electronic Fuel Injection Systems.

9 Diesel-Engine Management, Systems and Components.

10 Emissions Control Systems. Advance Diagnostic Systems.

11 Adaptive Operating and Prediction Strategy of the ECM.

12 Vehicle Networking Systems.

13 Future Automotive Electronic Systems.
