City transport management. Overall transport management. Stationary transport. Information panels, variable traffic signs. Transport system control including city public transport. Road tunnels and their technological equipment, control and safety systems. Emergency situations in transport and their solutions.

Study Objective:

Hierarchy of urban control systems and describing functions of particular layers. Principles and methods of transport system control its advantages and disadvantages. Preferences of public transport service. Introduction to stationary traffic, system P+R. Project of control system for motorways - RLTC. Road tunnel as telematic system.
