The students will get insight into design strategies in green architecture and sustainable built environment and will learn how to make assessment in order to achieve high quality of buildings. Besides that they will learn basic information on making life cycle assessment of materials and buildings.

The students will get insight into design strategies in green architecture and sustainable built environment and will learn how to make assessment in order to achieve high quality of buildings.
Besides that they will learn basic information on making life cycle assessment of materials and buildings.

1. Sustainability and integrated building design
2. Key performance indicators - social, economic, environmental
3. Sustainability assessment methods and certification schemes
4. Principles of efficient design of buildings
5. Life cycle assessment of building materials and buildings
6. Examples of high-performing sustainable buildings
Seminars:
1. Sustainability certification schemes used/applicable in my country
2. 15 key performance indicators for selected building typology
2. Setting up own simplified assessment system
3. Sustainability certification schemes applied/applicable in my country
4. Environmental assessment of a building structure
5. Examples of 3 environmentally friendly buildings/projects in my country
