Synopsis:

Timber structures focused to national strategy of sustainable development. New timber-based materials. Structural systeme of houses and bridges. Repairing and strengthtening. Fire design. Production, protection, erection and maintenance. Design and evaluation of bridges, roofs structures in normal temperature and in fire.

3. Fire resistance of members

4. Fire resistance of connections

5. Timber-concrete composite structures

6. Pedestrian and road bridges

4. Beam from CLT

6. Beam in fire situation

Study Objective:

To teach students fundamental methods of design timber structures and bridges, determination of loads, and actions on structures,protection of bridge structures against weather and with protection against fire.
