The most important transport and transformation processes in the integrated urban drainage system and their mathematical description. Basic definitions - system, model, simulation. Principles of balances of matter and mathematical formulation of balance equations. Construction of mathematical models, model types. Modelling of individual subsystems of the urban drainage system. Programmes for simulation of sewer systems, receiving waters and wastewater treatment plants.
