This course extends the student´s knowledge acquired in CESP1 and focuses on difficult language phenomena. It practises working with technical and specialist texts placing greater emphasis on individual work.

The course is run as a series of seminars following the topics and scope of the syllabus mentioned above.
- Study Objective:

Knowledge:
Morphology, syntax, and lexis at the level appropriate to the course, particularly declension and orthography of words of foreign origin, capitalisation, complex and compound sentences, terms, the structure of a paper and abstract.
Skills:
To write essays on topics of everyday life and more professional items, express correctly ideas, understand academic texts and write abstracts. Write short formal letters to faculty staff, institutions, offices.
To qualify for admission to the higher level course - CESP3, technical language.
