Basic terms, basis of the design. Bridge deck. Bridge accessories, expansion joints, bearings. Beam bridges, truss bridges, composite bridges. Spatial interaction of bridge structures. Skew bridges, horizontally curved bridges. Frame bridges. Arch bridges. Cable stayed bridges. Suspension bridges. Design of pedestrian bridges.
