Solar energy: thermal, photovoltaic.
Biomass: burning, biogas, liquid fuels.
Nuclear energy: fusion and fission.

Solar radiation, inclined surface irradiation, global radiation, direct and diffuse radiation, albedo.
Collectors for hot water: basic types of collectors and their efficiency as a function of irradiance and temperature.
Photovoltaic cell: principle, voltammogram characteristics, operating point
Wind energy: types of wind turbines, principle of operation, efficiency, power curve, utilization factor
Biomass combustion: calorific value, combustion efficiency, flue gas analysis. Noble biofuels: biogas, bioethanol, biodiesel.
Solar cooling: sorption, absorption, with photovoltaics.
Nuclear energy, fission chain reaction, fusion. Natural radioactivity.activity, half-life, ionizing radiation.
