Synopsis:

Polymer-based nanoscopic vs. microscopic systems. Properties, preparation, applications.

Requirements:

Appropriate background in physics and mathematics within context of FCE Master Study Programs.

Syllabus of lectures:

Fabrication and properties of polymers. Electrospinning process. Surface modification and degradation. Application potential in CE.

Possible aplications of advanced nanotechnologies in modern civil engineering and ecology.
