Synopsis:

Education-inheritance-environment relation, function of education, topical theories of education, objective of education, educational process, modern conceptions of instruction, educational documentation, educational laws and principles, teaching methods, organizational forms, diagnostics and assessment, education and creativity, importance of aesthetic education in cultivation of human being, ethical and multicultural education.

Requirements:

Study camping literature and test the list to submit a portfolio review of the literature.

Syllabus of lectures:

1st Subject pedagogy. The structure of education and relationship to other sciences.

2nd The essence of education. Relationship education, heredity and environment.

3rd Education, self-education, education (educational level). The function of education.

4th The basic educational categories. Purpose of Education. Resources, conditions, evaluation.

5th Basic education officials.

6th Personality and teacher educators.

7th Profile of contemporary youth and the share of education in its creation.

8th An alternative approach to education and current trends in the Czech education.

9th Education documents, the current changes with regard to curricular reform.

1st Current trends in the education of handicapped children and youth.

10th Czech educational system and its development.

11th Theory of education according to Bertrand.

12th Didactics as a theory of education and teaching.

13th Teaching as a coherent process.

14th The content of the curriculum and its selection.

15th Acquisition of knowledge and organization of the learning process of students.

16th Teaching methods.

17th Organizational forms of teaching.

18th Teaching materials in the teaching process.

19th Development, concept and challenges of social pedagogy. Instead of social pedagogy in science education.

20th The basic categories of social pedagogy.

21st Social (prosocial) education and its functions and tasks.

22nd Environment and Education. Threats to the character of children and youth from the environment. Children's Rights.

23rd Media and education.

24th Lifestyle and his creation.

25th Demanding and critical situations and their solutions.

26th Multicultural education, social and educational work in the minority, high-risk groups and communities.

27th Assisting in the CR, non-governmental organizations like the Lions LC.

28th Probation and Mediation Service.

29th Designing for social-educational activities.

30th Methods of social-educational activities.

31st Social work educator in the field.

32. Specifics of the methodology of social pedagogy.

Syllabus of tutorials:
Study Objective:

The goal of the subject is to present students with fundamental and up-to-date knowledge of pedagogy. Theory of education uses knowledge of general pedagogy, general teaching methodology - didactics and some other themes of social pedagogy.
