Synopsis:

Knowledge Management deals with the management knowledge and skills in the enterprise with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of organizations .

Requirements:

Mandatory attendance throughout the 4 hr block instruction - ( 10x , participation of at least 8 blocks ) active participation in class .

Syllabus of lectures:

Knowledge management and personnel management. Knowledge worker . Fundamentals of the theory of knowledge and knowledge creation .

Definition of knowledge. Knowledge potential , key , basic and outdated. Tacit and explicit knowledge . Spiral knowledge. Knowledge conversion .

Information assurance knowledge management , types of information systems.

Social networking , mapping knowledge in the organization . Procedural and structural dimension of knowledge.

Identification of knowledge in the organization , the basic concepts and procedures. Knowledge management . Context and content analysis skills .

Information or knowledge society . Corporate culture , its importance for knowledge management . Human capital , intellectual capital , the strategic importance of knowledge. Benefits and barriers to knowledge management .
