Design methods in accordance with partial factor method, configuration and preliminary design of structural components, transmission of actions and overall structural stiffness, specification of actions. Masonry stuctures - material properties, structural configuration, design of basic masonry components, principles of reinforced and prestressed masonry. Foundations - geological conditions, types of foundations, design of basic types of foundations.
