Synopsis:

Social psychology focuses on social life of individuals, his relations to other people and his communication with other people.

Requirements:

To be given by the teaching staff during first class. Both theoretical knowledge and active performance during class training of social psychological skills are assessed in exam.

Syllabus of lectures:

Social psychology - introduction and methods, attitudes, social motivation, social interaction and communication, small groups, emotions in social interaction, social climate in class, assertion, manipulation. authority

Syllabus of tutorials:

Social psychological training is based upon videos aimed at social motivation, communication skills, assertion, team roles and psychological tests, including feed-back given to students.

Study Objective:

Terminology, methods and research results of social psychology are of key importace for the students and special attention is drawn to practical issues of everyday experience of teaching staff at secondary technical schools. At the same time social psychological skills are trained during seminars, the training is backed by videos, tests, etc.
