Practicing of the design of machine parts with an emphasis on understanding geometric and dimensional tolerances and surface roughness.

1. - 4. The first task - familiarization with CAD SW, modeling according to known documentation simple assembly model and then creating a design drawing
4. - 7. Second task - design of machine tool spindle (milling, lathe, etc.) - aim to create design drawing and design report
7. - 10. The third task - linear axis or part of the forming machine
10. - 13. Fourth task - rotary table or forming machine part
During the semester, students work out a research on a given topic (linear guides, ball screws, etc.) with a focus on machine tools or metal forming machines.
