Synopsis:

Students get knowledge of practical work with mikroorganisms and ezymes, including preparation of samples for irradiation. They get knowledge of basic aspects of work with radionuclide generator, preparation of labelled compounds and determination of radiochemical purity.

Requirements:

1.Basic course of nuclear chemistry.

2.Basic course of ionising radiation detection.

3.Medical certificate of ability to work with ionising radiation.

2. Influence of ionizing radiation on enzymes

3. Influence of UV radiation on mikroorganisms

4. Influence of ionizing radiation on mikroorganisms

5. Radionuclide (technetium) generator

6. Labelled compounds

7. Determination of radionuclidic purity

8. Determination of radiochemical purity of compound labelled with radiocarbon

Study Objective:

Students get knowledge of practical work with mikroorganisms and ezymes, including preparation of samples for irradiation.

They get competence in basic aspects of work with radionuclide generator, preparation of labelled compounds and determination of radiochemical purity.
