The course will acquaint the students with>
?basic features of individual kinds of transport (road, railway, air, water)
?relations between transport and territory.
?transport surveys: logistics in in large territorial units, regions, towns and villages.
?reciprocal relations between a transport route and territory.
?public, individual , cargo transport (freight)
? prospective of further transport development in Europe (EU) and the Czech Republic (national transport network) , the relation of urban and transport planning
?transport and environment, noise and vibration, exhaust fumes, accidents, land confiscation, energy consumption
?the impact of transport systems upon landscape and settlements
?transport and sustainability

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with particular kinds of transport, their function and characteristics. Logistics and the use of particular transport systems in region sis part of the course.
