Synopsis:

The course deals with sustainable development, financial and information systems of municipalities and the strategies as worked out for the following areas:

?development of micro-regions

? development of big territorial units

?non-profit organisations

?implementation of changes in regions

?investments of municipalities

?choice of financial resources

?project assessments for credit financing of strategic projects

?PR strategy planning

?regional operational programs

?regional development agencies in the period of preparation, processing and implementation of strategies

?European Regional Planning Charter border and cross-border cooperation

Study Objective:

The students of the course will learn to understand the mission and particularities of urban and regional maintenance according to the concept of sustainable development and conceptual regional policies..

The main objective is to design a strategy for the management of municipal, regional and micro.regional development on principles of subsidiarity and partnership
