Introduction to basic approaches of programming in the CR and in the EU. Getting an overview of the programs implemented in the Czech Republic within the economic and social cohesion and programs implemented by national funds. Emphasis on basic principles of project design, acquisition of the ability to create a project proposal to support development of the city or region.

The aim of training is to acquaint students with the fundamental approaches to programming in the Czech Republic and the EU. The students will get an overview of the programs implemented in the Czech Republic within the Policy of Economic Social and Territorial Cohesion and of the programs financed by supranational funds. The course will also aim at the basic principles of project writing so that after completion of the course they are prepared to design their own projects supporting municipal or regional development.
