Synopsis:

The course will cover development of the theatre, mainly from the 19th century until today. Czech theatres, theatre technology and contemporary theatre trends, such as using non-theatre spaces will be also presented. The course will include a backstage excursion and a visit to a Czech theatre performance (with subtitles).

9. The Second Half of the 20th Century Theatre (part one).

10. The second half of the 20th Century Theatre (second part).

11. The second half of the 20th Century Theatre (third part).

12. The First Half of the 21st Century Theatre.
