This course is about obtaining knowledge through sharing and developing ideas regarding the history of garden art and landscape architecture and contemporary trends of landscape architecture worldwide. Students write essays, make site research in Prague (historical gardens, parks, public spaces) and make PowerPoint presentation concerning landscape architecture in their country.

A genuine interest in the subject of landscape architecture is essential, along with a willingness to share ideas, collaborate with fellow students, and participate regularly in class sessions.

The aim of this course is to explore the diversity of approaches to landscape architecture across different countries through shared discussions, exchange of ideas, and personal insights. By engaging in this collaborative process, students will be encouraged to reflect more deeply on the landscape of their own country and their individual creative practice.
Ultimately, the course seeks to develop the ability to collaborate effectively between architects and landscape architects.
