Synopsis:

Content will focus in particular on the question of the nature of education, the role of education in human development and socio-economic development in society. It also pointed to the transformation of the object of education (children, young adults, health and the handicapped). The findings will be presented as the relationship of education, training and teaching, educational laws and principles, officials of education objectives, content, process conditions and resources and evaluation in the educational process. The players will be dealt with education issues and teachers in vocational education and the educational system.

Requirements:

Essay from the circle of taught issues (part of the assessment for access to the test of course).

Syllabus of lectures:

1st Science education.

2nd The essence of education. Relationship education, environment, heredity. Relationship of education, socialization and care.

3rd Education, training, education (educational level), self-education. Functions and types of education.

4th The objective, content, conditions, resources, evaluation.

5th Basic education officials: family, school, teacher - an educator.

6th Forms and methods of education. Education documents, the current changes with regard to curricular reform.

7th Profile of contemporary youth and the share of education in its creation.

8th The educational system is focused on transforming education.

9th Alternative educational concepts and current trends in education.

10th Current trends in the education of handicapped children and youth.

Study Objective:

The goal is to provide students with basic knowledge about teaching and learning phenomena, processes, patterns, laws, principles, categories and theories that form the basis of pedagogical thinking, as it deals with general education. The education and training will be discussed in the context of teaching science in the context of curriculum reform, alternative educational approaches and pedagogical changes in vocational education and the health and population-challenged.
