- Synopsis:
-
Students will obtain the knowledge and practical skills in the state-of-the-art SoC and NoC design methods.
- Requirements:
- Syllabus of lectures:
-
1.Programmable circuits.
2.Technical principles of reconfiguration, partially reconfigurable circuits.
3.SoC testing principles, design for testability.
4.Dependable design of SoC, dependability models and dependability properties' calculations.
5.Tools and algorithms for SoC design, HW/SW codesign, used platforms.
6.Verification and models for SoC.
7.NoC, effective cooperation and communication of many cores on a chip.
8. Digital design - quantitative approach.
9. Low-power design
- Syllabus of tutorials:
-
Students will prepare and present the current state-of-the-art related to the topic of their dissertation. The presentation and discussion can also take place at the field meeting of the KČN department in front of a wider audience.
- Study Objective:
-
To teach the students the recent trends in programmable structures, SoC and NoC areas. The subject form is not only lectures but also practical laboratory courses based on the most powerful design kits and EDA tools. Practical experiments with professional and university tools will be performed, and final case studies and pilot projects will be accent.
