Synopsis:

Acquaints students with general and special surgery, the operating process and the various types of surgical departments. It also includes some special topics in surgery and traumatology. The course is divided into two stages. While in the first stage, attention is focused on general problems of surgery, the second phase deals with the Special Surgery and Traumatology in the head and neck, thoracic and abdominal surgery, urology, trauma, thermal trauma surgery and plastic surgery.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Latin terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. 90% attendance at seminars.

Syllabus of lectures:

Head and Neck Surgery.

Thoracic surgery, thoracic and vascular surgery.

Abdominal surgery and urology.

Craniocerebral and spinal trauma and spinal cord.

Injuries to the chest.

Injuries to the abdomen and retroperitoneum.

Extremity and pelvic injuries.

Polytrauma.

Thermal injury.

The loss to injury, replantation.
