Synopsis:

The course is designed to build the core theoretical knowledge and to train basic skills within cross-cultural psychology. Personal experience and self-management development comply the theoretical part.

Requirements:

Be given on the first lecture

Syllabus of lectures:

Culture, acculturation, assimilation, ethnicity, nation, race, stereotypes, prejudices.

Cross-cultural skills training, international research on the topic

Syllabus of tutorials:

seminar work presentation

Study Objective:

The aim of the course is to identify and describe human behaviour and mental processes, including both their variability and invariance, under diverse cultural conditions. To focus on differences in education, family and social life and social experience.
