The course is intended for students of the Master's study program Project Management of Innovations. The teaching is aimed at gaining a wide range of knowledge from the field of innovation processes, for the understanding and internalization of which a deep understanding of the connections between science and culture is an absolutely key.
- Requirements:

- Elaboration and personal presentation of the seminar work;
- Active participation in a joint action; possibly participation in an excursion.

Introduction;
1) Examples of mutual influence of technology and culture, evolution of technologies;
2) On the road to normal science - revolution as a source of progress;
3) An insight into the classical age of science and modern science;
4) The world of science and technology as a source of inspiration;
5) Modern space-time; the influence of the cultural and civilizational changes of the late 19th and early 20th centuries on the emergence of modern aesthetics;
6) Excursion to selected chapters of modern and contemporary art;
7) New Film History and the Origins of Media;
8) How to understand the media; contemporary media and their influence on society;
9) A work of art and its interpretation;
10) A world without science and technology has no future; impacts of Industry 4.o on human society.

The aim is to expand students' knowledge - to give them theoretical knowledge about the mutual relationship between science, i.e. technology and culture.
Another aim is to support a correct understanding of the mediated contexts and to increase students' motivation to think more deeply about innovation and implementation.
