The course is aimed towards ERASMUS students - especially beginners. The course is taught on the basis of English language support.
The goal of the course is to give the students first hand information about pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar structure of the Czech language, and also provide them with basic useful phrases needed for everyday communication during their stay in the Czech Republic.

G: Numbers 10-1000, Adverbs expressing direction and location
Week 4: C: Food and drink, In a restaurant, Prices
G: Accusative singular, Verb conjugation: -e verbs, Colloquial form of Czech
Week 5: C: My family
G: Possessive pronouns and adjectives
Week 6: C: Describing people/things
G: Adjectives - nominative and accusative forms
Week 7: C: Talking about time, Daily routine
G: Modal verbs, prepositions OD/DO, The expression RÁD + verb
Week 8: C: What did you do today?
G: The expression RÁD + noun , The past tense - part 1
Week 9: C: Famous people
G: The past tense - part 2, The second position in a Czech sentence, Locative singular, Time expressions
Week 10: C: Apartment/flat and house, Colours

To get the credits, students must actively participate in lessons during semester, and successfully pass the final test.
