- Synopsis:
-
This course constitutes a continuation of the master level course „Nonlinear systems“ being opened during winter semester. It is devoted to the detailed study of nonlinear systems structure from the control design point of view.
It is based on state space descripion of nonlinear systems. Model transformations will be studied to simplify them and thereby faciliate the controllers design. It gives mathematical conditions for the existence of these transformations. Nonlinear analougues of controllability and observability will be introduced and studied as well and their relation to detectability and stabilizability investigated. Finally, elements of nonlinear output regulation as well as of nonlinear robust and adaptive
design will be presented. Exercises will be, in particular, based on MATLAB and SIMULINK use.
