Model of building construction, system of forces , cross section characteristics (centre of gravity, moment of inertia, ellipse of inertia), point, rigid plate and body, static equilibrium, reaction at supports. Internal forces, analysis of beam (simply supported, Gerber girder, with broken axis). Framed structures. Simple compression, tension, shear and bending, main normal stresses.
