Laser oscillator, pulsed and steady state regime, rate equations for laser oscillator. Laser amplifier, amplified signal distortion reason. Q-switching mode, types of Q-switches, Q-switching rate equations modification and solutions. Types of mode-locker.Examples of Q-switched and mode-locked lasers.
