Synopsis:

Practical training in electronics gives practical experience in the design of selected electronic circuits. Students obtain basic skill in the circuit realisation. Practical training includes linear circuits, digital circuits and exercise in the programming of microprocessor control system. Students are allowed to work on the electronic problem concerning their own scientific activity.

Requirements:

knowledge of linear circuit analysis and logical circuits and microprocessors (11ANEL and 11MIK at FNSPE)

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Laboratory equipment. 2. Transistor circuits. 3. Circuits with operational amplifiers. 4. Digital circuits. 5. Simple sequential circuit ? frequency divider. 6. More complex sequential circuit . 7. Learning the microprocessor control system. 8. Binary I/O programming. 9. Analog I/O programming. 10. Force, mass, pressure measurements. 11. Flow, position, velocity, acceleration measurements. 12. Automatic experimental measurements, data processing. 13. Communications in experimental equipment.
