Synopsis:

Basic plastics and composites manufacturing techniques will be introduced as well as a problem of jointing and recycling. Within this course students will visit tool shop, plastics injection plant and company producing composite parts. In laboratories students will manufacture a composite part, make tests of mechanical properties, they will try jointing, machining and reparing of composite parts.

5.Injection - dies, machines.

8.Compisite materials - types, categories.

9.Technologies of composites manufacturing.

10.Mechanical properties of composites - konstruction, calculations.

11.Composites for aircraft, hybrid composites.

12.Composites jointing.

13.Recycling of plastic and composite parts.

14.Final lecture, summary, discusion.
