The course of Concrete Bridges is focused on design and construction of this type of bridge structures. Lectures are devoted to spatial arrangement and equipment of road and railway bridges, bridge substructure, effects and realization of prestressing, types of concrete bridge structures and technologies of their construction. Seminars are split into interesting issues and provide an opportunity to apply the learnt principles.

CONDITIONS FOR GRANTING EXAM ACCESS
- Attendance at exercises (2 absences excused)
- Submission of all correctly solved problems in due time
- Adherence to the procedure of elaboration and submission of results during the semester, consultation and approval of partial results required for some assignments, closure of each assignment within 2 weeks after the last part is assigned
-Completion of all tests, etc. within the proper timeframe within the Moodle platform, including achieving the minimum score if applicable.
- Violation of these conditions will be sanctioned by not giving credit, extra work, additional tests, etc.
EXAM
- Conditions for participation: registration for the exam in KOS, credit recorded in KOS
-Written exam = test and examples, approx. 2 hours in total + personal participation in the evaluation (possible oral follow-up)
- Exam evaluation: max 100 points (70 test + 30 tutorial) - -
- Successful completion of the exam - the condition is to obtain a minimum of 50 points in total, with a minimum of 40% in each sub-section.
