Synopsis:

The subject guarantor: Ing.Ladislav Kolařík, Ph.D., IWE

Differences of mechanized, automated and robotic welding production. Welding methods suitable for automation and robotization. Monitoring and control of welding process, its parameters. Welding peripheries. Incorporation of welding into production. Technical, safety and economical aspects of welding automation and robotization.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of manufacturing technologies-welding.

Syllabus of lectures:

- Introduction into automation - terminology, definitions, groups

- Joining methods suitable for mechanization, automation, robotization of production. Influence on quality and rate of production.

- Sensors-groups, usage, welding gap, arc observation

- Peripherals - manipulators, torch cleaning

- Welding parameters monitoring and control

- Robotization of welding process-simulation, programming-offline, online

- Increase of welding productivity

o Narrow gap welding

o Orbital welding

o Multi wire

- Safety, hygiene, ergonomic requirements
