The subject deals with the implementation of metal forming theory in metal working industry.

- Syllabus of lectures:

Fundamentals of plasticity. Stress and strain tensors. Stress-strain curves and related mechanical properties and phenomena. Methods for analyzing metalworking processes. Calculation of load and energy parameters. FLD curves in sheet metal forming. Formability of metals and criteria, which influence it. Material, design and production factors and their effect on forming process.
