- Synopsis:
-
Single phase flow. Kolmogorov theory of isotropic turbulence. Time averaged models of turbulence (k-epsilon model, Reynolds Stress Model). Turbulent viscosity and difusivity. Chemical reaction in turbulent flow. Boundary conditions (Wall function). Advanced turbulence models (Large Scale Eddy Simulation, Direct Numerical of Turbulence). TWO-PHASE FLOW. Two Fluid Model, Speed of sound in two--phase flow. Particle-turbulence interaction (dispersion, coalescence, off-bottom suspension, mass transfer). Turbulence models for gas-liquid dispersions and fluidized beds.
