The course extends the knowledge of the fundamentals course of physics. Students are informed about the fundamental decibel quantities and their acoustical significancies.

Development and methods of acoustical engineering, acoustic wave propagation in extended fluid media with negligible dissipation, acoustic wave propagation in lossless solids, single reflection of acoustic waves, surface sources of acoustic waves, perturbation of the acoustic field due to an obstacle, wave propagation in real liquids and gases, wave propagation in real solid media, systems with lumped constants, one-dimensional systems with distributed constants, two-dimensional systems, bounded spatial systems, extended spatial systems, vibrations.
