Thermodynamic properties of dry and moist air, applications of psychrometric principles. Air-conditioning one-zone and multi-zone systems selection, design and regulation. Minimalization of energy consumption, using of waste energy in air-conditioning. Alternative cold sources, refrigeration equipments, heat pumps.

Outdoor and indoor climatic conditions. Moist air treatment, theoretical and practical solutions of air - conditioning processes. Air-condtioning systems dimensioning - all air systems, air - and - water systems, all water systems, rerfrigerant systems. Analysis of heat transfer in systems, equipment dimensioning for minimum energy consumption, energy estimating. Heat, cold, outdoor air distribution in buildings. Heat and cold sources in building selection and design.
