The aim of the course is give a comprehensive theory of combustion fuels.
The basic mechanism of heat release by oxidation of chemically bound heat in fossil fuels and biomass.
Arrhenius law and its practical application.
Diffusion and kinetic combustion, burning rate and heat transfer in the furnace.
Mixing of fuel and oxidant such as burning rate limit factor.

of single carbon particle and of the real coal particles. Complete and
incomplete combustion, excess of combustion air. Combustion reaction
kinetics, factors affective combustion velocity. Heat balance of
combustion process, fuel ignition, stability of combustion process.
Fundamentals of thermal acaustics. Flame aerodynamics. Fluidized bed
combustion. Perspective systems of combustion.
