- Synopsis:
-
To understand the bases methods of probabilistic risk assessment in nuclear energetic. Event trees fault trees. Behavior of radioactive releases.
- Requirements:
- Syllabus of lectures:
-
Inventory of radioactive materials in the reactor and their radiological criteria. The bases of Probalistic Risk Assessment (PRA) of their releases into the environment (initial events, event trees, fault trees, reliability analyses of systems, human factor assessment, man machine interaction, extent of core damage). Behaviour of radioactive releases in the containment, source term. The result of PRA for some single units and for global risk assessment of nuclear power. Licensing of nuclear units and its procedures.
