Principles of selection of the manufacturing method for semi-finished products. Production planning and production processes in the foundry. Production processes for forgings. Accuracy, stock material, utilized equipment. Production processes for stampings. Manufacturing of stampings, presses and equipment. Production processes for weldments. Operational sequence, filler materials, equipment. Plastic mouldings. Individual projects for production of a casting, forging or a stamping.

1. Principles of selection of the manufacturing method for semi-finished products by the sheet and bulk forming

2. Production processes for the stampings.Manufacturing of stampings, presses and equipment

3. Production processes for forgings. Accurancy, stock material, utilized equipment

4. Production processesfor weldments. Operational sequence, filler materials and equipment

5. Principles of selection of the manufacturing method for casting

6. Production planning and production processes in the foudry

7. Accurancy, alowances, drafts, gates, feeders and charge

Syllabus of tutorials:

Individual projects for productio of casting, forging or stamping
