Anotace:

This course helps students improve their communication in English for successful international business interactions. It has been designed for students with English at the minimum B1 level of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference).

Požadavky:

active participation; 80% attendance; 2 presentations on a selected topic; a reflective essay based on personal journal writing

By the end of this course students will:

Improve communication skills

Develop accuracy and style in terms of grammar, lexis and functional language

Improve their pronunciation and fluency

Increase English vocabulary

Identify how culture influences their speech and behaviour

Present information and ideas and opinions

Improve recognition and construction of arguments and opinions

Know statements, questions and responses for different settings and situations
