- Grading of the course requires grading of the following courses:
- Computing in Construction Management (126POPR)
- Lecturer:
- Tutor:
- Petr Dlask, Petr Kalčev
- Supervisor:
- Department of Construction Management and Economics
- Synopsis:
-
In the lesson frame students obtain the experience with advanced dynamic model calculations eliminating the risk of choosing one variance only, which could be either ineffective /in the better case/ or result in catastrophic consequences as regards of the whole project functioning /in the worse case/. These calculations are created in spreadsheet software. The procedures include the external intervention theory, interventions of the interaction, the risk simulation and parametrical model calculations.
- Requirements:
-
Basic using MS Office programs, especially MS Excel, MS Powerpoint. User knowledge of the VBA for MS Excel.
- Syllabus of lectures:
- Syllabus of tutorials:
-
1. Management external intervention robot (deterministic/stochastic), including result tracking.
2. Management internal intervention robot (deterministic/stochastic), including result tracking.
3. Model calibration by using historical data.
4. Application for back validation results.
5. Application another calculation method - comparison with MDM.
6. Model optimisation - internal.
7. Model optimisation - external (Black Box).
8. Management intervention quantification.
- Study Objective:
-
The goal of the course is identification of the advanced procedures for dynamic simulation. The students can applied these procedures on the MDM. The results are visualizated and theoretical analyzed. Dynamic model is able to design regulation interventions or requirement of optimization in the course of constrains.
