Students will get acquainted with the basic types of models for inelastic and time-dependent material behavior, in particular with those applicable to concrete and metals. The fundamental principles will be explained using simple models for uniaxial stress. Subsequently, triaxial generalization and application in structural analysis will be briefly presented.
