This course provides students with basic information on the methods used in Computer-Aided Design of microwave and/or electrooptic circuits and networks. While lectures bring insight into the methods, computer labs help students to get familiar with current design programs. Real designs are carried out by the students. Methods of noise analysis and signal distortion modelling in transmission channels. Nonlinear circuits computer analysis and optimization.Using of electromagnetic simulators in circuit design.
