- Synopsis:
-
The subject is targeted to getting knowledges about principles, features and usage of program control of switching systems. The overview of technical solution of various types of control units is discussed. There is also a basic description of principles and functionality of administrative, control, diagnostic and postprocessing (billing, charging) tools used by telecommunication operators. An accent is placed especially on programming of such systems. The CHILL programming language is discussed and practically trained in the UNIX operating system environment.
