The main aim of the course is an introduction to the basic structures of power pulse converters. Students can get informations about the converter design and usage of snubber and protection circuits. Characteristics and data sheets of active power devices mainly used for the design including also cooling parts. As a result the student will be able to elaborate a complex design of a power pulse converter.
